How much does a stairlift cost?
Reconditioned straight stairlifts cost from £1,595 and new straight stairlifts from £2,495. Curved stairlifts cost from £3,395 reconditioned and from £4,995 new. All prices are fully installed and include VAT.
Where are you based and which areas do you cover?
We are based at Mobility House, North Valley Road, Colne, BB8 9AG, and we cover Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cumbria.
Which stairlift brands do you supply?
We supply and repair stairlifts from Stannah, Acorn, Handicare, Platinum, Brooks and Access BDD. Because we are independent, we recommend the model that suits your staircase rather than one brand.
Is the home survey free?
Yes. An advisor visits at a time that suits you, measures your staircase and gives you a fixed written quote. There is no charge and no obligation.
How long does it take to fit a stairlift?
Straight stairlifts can often be fitted within a few hours. Curved stairlifts need a rail made for your staircase, so we will give you a timescale at your survey.
Do your stairlifts come with a warranty?
Yes. Every stairlift we fit comes with a parts and labour warranty, 3 years on new and 2 years on reconditioned, plus a full safety demonstration. You can extend either to 5 years.
Can you repair a stairlift you did not fit?
Yes. Our engineers repair and service all major brands, whether or not we installed the lift.
Can I get help paying for a stairlift?
Qualifying customers can buy VAT-free, and your local council may offer a Disabled Facilities Grant towards the cost. We can provide the written quote the council needs.
