Reconditioned Stairlifts – Fully Refurbished, Fitted and Guaranteed
What Is a Reconditioned Stairlift?
A reconditioned stairlift is a quality used stairlift that has been stripped down, refurbished, fitted with replacement parts where needed and safety tested before it is installed in your home. It costs considerably less than a new lift, starting from £1,595 for a straight stairlift fully fitted, and it comes with a 2-year parts and labour warranty.
Reconditioned stairlifts are a good choice if you need a lift quickly, are working to a budget, or expect to need it for a shorter time. Because we are independent, we can offer reconditioned models from several leading manufacturers and help you pick the one that suits your staircase.
No charge, no obligation — an advisor visits your home at a time that suits you.
Fixed Quote
Clear, all-inclusive price in writing before anything is ordered. No hidden extras.
Large Selection
We work with all leading manufacturers and advise on which models suit your home.
Warranty Included
3-year warranty on new stairlifts, 2 years on reconditioned, and a full safety demonstration on every installation.
Every reconditioned stairlift is installed by our own engineers, demonstrated to you before we leave, and covered by a 2-year parts and labour warranty, which you can extend to 5 years.
Before a stairlift is offered to a customer, it goes through a full refurbishment:
Stripped down and deep cleaned
Worn parts such as batteries and moving components replaced as needed
Upholstery and controls checked, with replacements where required
Safety sensors, brakes and seatbelt tested
Rail cut or adapted to fit your staircase
The result is a stairlift that works like new and is backed by a 2-year parts and labour warranty.

Reconditioned Straight Stairlifts
Reconditioned straight stairlifts are the most popular choice we fit. The rail is a standard length cut to suit your stairs, so a reconditioned lift can usually be fitted quickly, often within a few hours.
Every curved staircase is different, so a reconditioned curved stairlift is fitted with a rail made or adapted to suit your stairs. It still saves a significant amount compared with buying new.
From £3,395 fully installed
Suitable for L-shaped, U-shaped and winding stairs
VAT Relief Applies to Reconditioned Stairlifts Too
If you have a disability or long-term illness, you can buy a reconditioned stairlift VAT-free, just as you could a new one. For example, a reconditioned stairlift priced at £1,595 including VAT would cost £1,329.17 for a qualifying customer. We complete the declaration with you at no extra charge.
