Choosing a Heavy Duty Stairlift

Allow some headroom. Choose a lift rated comfortably above the user’s current weight.
Check the seat width. Heavy duty models offer wider seats and more space between the arms.
Straight or curved. Straight heavy duty lifts go up to 31.5 stone; on curved stairs the highest we offer is 30 stone.
Staircase width. Heavy duty lifts can need more room than standard models, so we measure your stairs at the survey.
VAT relief. Qualifying customers can buy VAT-free, which takes a sixth off the price.
