Handicare 1100 Stairlift: Features, Specifications and Prices
A Slim Straight Stairlift for Narrower Stairs
The Handicare 1100 is a straight stairlift with a very slim rail, designed to take up as little room on the stairs as possible. That makes it a good choice for terraced houses and other homes where the staircase is on the narrow side.
Instead of a toothed rack, it is driven by friction wheels on a smooth rail, so there is no exposed rack or grease and the rail stays clean. It carries users up to 22 stone.
Every price is a starting price that includes installation, VAT and a parts and labour warranty (3 years on new, 2 years on reconditioned). Your exact price depends on your staircase and the options you choose, and we confirm it in writing after a free home survey.

What Owners Say
We could not find genuine owner reviews that name the Handicare 1100 specifically. Reviews of Handicare stairlifts in general (4.9 out of 5 on Feefo for Handicare working with Age Co, and 4.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot) regularly praise quick, tidy installation and how easy the lifts are to use. Complaints are mostly about aftercare response times, which depend on who supplies and services the lift.
Sources: Feefo, Trustpilot. Claims that it is especially quiet come from the manufacturer rather than owners.
